Responsibilities

To maintain the financial accounting ledgers with SAP, ensure the timely submission of Financial and fiscal reports and provide assistance to other members of the finance team. Details as follows:-

• Performing of Accounts Payable (AP), Month-End closing, Cash Application & Fixed Assets
• Managing intercompany, vendor transactions with accuracy & efficiency
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing to meet strict deadlines
• To check & verify documents & bank reconciliations
• Maintaining fixed asset records and ensuring compliance with internal control & audits
• Supporting accurate stock costing and inventory adjustments & contributing to financial reports and system reconciliations
• To review, streamline and improve existing processes and procedures
• Other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Min GCE ‘O’ Levels or its equivalent
• At least 2 to 3 years of accounting experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliation
• Preferably experience working in MNCs/ Chemical / Manufacturing industry.
• An individual with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Committed and able to work under pressure
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel - Vlookups, Pivot tables, etc)
• Good working knowledge of SAP system
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period & commit for the contract period until 31st Dec 2025
