Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities
1. Validate data from source systems (pre-load) incollaboration with business users; identify data quality challenges andcoordinate with source system owners to resolve issues.
2. Assist business users in data preparation, ensuringdata is formatted correctly for ingestion into the data platform.
3. Validate raw (post-load) and processed data within thedata platform as part of data validation and system testing activities.
4. Support business users in writing and reviewingrequirements documents, design documents, training materials, test scripts,test cases/scenarios, and test data.
5. Perform testing of reports, dashboards, data models,calculations, and transformations; document and update test results in testscripts on behalf of business users.
6. Participate in training programs and assist businessusers during end-user training sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working withdata platforms (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes, cloud-based data solutions).
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills withdemonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with business stakeholders atvarious levels.
3. Solid understanding of data platforms, ETL/ELTprocesses, reporting tools, and dashboarding solutions (e.g., Power BI,Tableau, or similar).
4. Strong finance domain knowledge, including familiaritywith financial data structures, reporting requirements, and regulatoryconsiderations.
5. Proven experience in similar data analyst or datavalidation roles within data migration, implementation, or transformationprojects.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with SQL, Python, or other data queryingand scripting languages.
2. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and dataquality management practices.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics,Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
4. Relevant certifications in data analytics, businessintelligence, or cloud data platforms.
