Job Description

- Position Title: CMM Technician
- Working Location: Seletar Aerospace Park, North-East Region
- Working Hours: 5-days (Mon – Fri: 8am - 5.30pm)
- Salary Package: Basic $2000 - $2500 + VB
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to carry out quality inspections.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), incoming, in-process, and final inspections using different measuring equipment.
- Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Prepare and maintain inspection records according to the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Operate measuring instruments, maintain them properly, and check their calibration status before use.
- Perform visual inspections based on engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Keep inspection equipment, machines, and work areas clean and well-maintained.
- Support quality improvement, cost reduction, workplace safety, and continuous improvement activities.
- Report inspection results and non-conforming parts to the Quality Supervisor promptly.

- Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, GCE O-Level, or equivalent qualification, with at least 2 years of CMM inspection experience.
- Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM); knowledge of Hexagon PC-DMIS or Zeiss CALYPSO programming software will be an advantage.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, with good knowledge of GD&T.
- Familiar with measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work rotating shifts when required.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Responsible, able to work independently, and able to work well in a team.
