Our esteemed client in the Consultancy industry is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Position: Civil & Structural Engineer
- Location: West
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
- Salary Package: Basic + Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, technical write-ups, structural/design calculations, and detailed technical specifications.
- Conduct technical and feasibility studies, including preliminary site investigations and assessments.
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and cross-functional oversight of ongoing project lifecycles.
- Liaise directly with external stakeholders (including clients, regulatory authorities, architects, main contractors, and suppliers) to facilitate project coordination and resolve design or development issues.
- Perform on-site inspections and field investigations as required.
- Ensure all project designs, models, and workflows strictly comply with the latest local Codes of Practice and legal/statutory requirements.
- Conduct physical and digital research/data collection for internal innovation topics and collaborative industry-academic R&D initiatives.
- Undertake targeted research on designated engineering topics aligned with the organization’s corporate direction and objectives.
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma of Civil Engineering or other related discipline with minimum 1 year of similar working experience.
- Inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
- Willing to travel as and when needed.
- Having a Class 3 Driving License would be a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with CAD and other engineering design software.
