Junior Design Drafter

Job Summary

Create detailed cabinet and furniture designs using software, take precise measurements, calculate materials and costs, and collaborate with sales, installers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project completion within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed cabinet and furniture plans using design software to enable accurate project execution
• Measure project sites precisely and calculate materials, labor, and costs to ensure feasibility and budget control
• Document material specifications including colors, hardware, and finishes in drawings to maintain design accuracy
• Produce assigned drawings and 3D renders to clearly communicate design intent
• Track and update design and construction changes, adjusting drawings to reflect current project status
• Collaborate with sales teams, installers, clients, and stakeholders to align site structure and design requirements
• Manage project design timelines to ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in interior design or the furniture and cabinet industry
• Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD software
• Skilled in SolidWorks software
