Responsibilities:
§ Define and own the target-state architecture, technology strategy and architecture roadmap for the bank's Marketing Technology (MarTech) ecosystem across all markets and business segments.
§ Act as the principal architecture authority for marketing automation platforms, customer engagement solutions, customer data platforms (CDP), personalization engines, digital channels and campaign delivery solutions.
§ Drive the future-state vision for customer engagement, omni-channel marketing, real-time personalization and AI-driven marketing capabilities.
§ Develop architecture blueprints, reference architectures and technology standards aligned with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, data governance policies and regulatory requirements.
§ Lead the evaluation, selection and adoption of strategic MarTech platforms and technologies that support the bank's digital transformation objectives.
§ Partner closely with business stakeholders, Digital Banking, Data & Analytics, Customer Experience, Infrastructure, Security and Risk teams to define scalable enterprise solutions.
§ Architect end-to-end customer engagement ecosystems across customer data platforms, campaign management, journey orchestration, consent management, customer analytics and channel delivery platforms.
§ Establish integration patterns between MarTech platforms and enterprise systems including Core Banking, CRM, Data Lake, Enterprise Data Platforms, Digital Channels, APIs and GenAI solutions.
§ Drive architecture governance and design reviews to ensure solutions remain aligned with long-term strategic objectives, scalability requirements and operational excellence standards.
§ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architects, technical leads and delivery teams across multiple programs.
§ Lead proof-of-concepts, technology evaluation and assessments and innovation initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies within the MarTech landscape.
§ Collaborate with vendors and strategic partners to influence product roadmaps and maximize value from platform investments.
§ Ensure architectural decisions support resilience, performance, security, compliance and future business growth.
§ Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and provide executive-level recommendations on technology investments, risks, opportunities and transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
Education:
§ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
§ Postgraduate qualifications in Technology, Architecture or Business Management will be advantageous.
Essential:
§ Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise technology delivery, solution architecture or platform architecture roles.
§ At least 8 years of dedicated experience in Marketing Technology (MarTech), Customer Engagement, CRM or Marketing Automation architecture.
§ Demonstrated experience defining and implementing enterprise-scale MarTech strategies within large financial institutions, telecommunications companies, digital enterprises or multinational organizations.
§ Proven track record in leading large-scale platform modernization, architecture transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.
§ Deep understanding of customer engagement ecosystems, customer journey orchestration, campaign management, personalization and customer data management.
§ Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, architecture governance and technology road mapping.
§ Ability to engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders including executive leadership.
§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance business objectives, customer experience, technology capabilities and regulatory requirements.
§ Experience operating in complex, multi-country and highly regulated environments.
§ Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
§ Ability to work independently and provide strategic direction with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
§ Experience implementing next-generation customer engagement platforms leveraging AI, machine learning and predictive analytics.
§ Experience with cloud-native architecture patterns and modern integration frameworks.
§ Familiarity with banking, wealth management, cards, retail banking and customer lifecycle management domains.
§ Industry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect or Salesforce Architect certifications are advantageous.
