Senior Power Platform Developer

As a Power Platform Developer at SimplifyNext, you will be a core contributor in our delivery team - designing and building enterprise-grade solutions for our clients across Singapore and the region. This is not a maintenance role. You will take ownership of complex builds, bring your technical depth to client engagements, and grow toward a Solutions Architect track through structured mentoring and exposure to real enterprise challenges.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Architect and build enterprise-grade solutions using the full Power Platform stack - Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
• Design scalable, secure, and performant solutions aligned to client requirements and SimplifyNext delivery standards
• Take end-to-end ownership of complex builds from scoping through to deployment and handover

Integration & Innovation

• Implement deep integrations with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and third-party systems via APIs and custom connectors
• Build AI-powered workflows and intelligent apps using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure OpenAI
• Stay current with the Microsoft product roadmap and bring relevant capabilities into client solutions

Quality & Governance

• Apply and contribute to SimplifyNext's governance frameworks, environment strategy, and deployment automation
• Champion ALM and DevOps best practices, including automated testing and structured release management
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise-grade quality bars on security, performance, and maintainability

Client Engagement & Collaboration

• Engage directly with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Work within Agile delivery frameworks, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with UI/UX and business analysis colleagues to deliver solutions that are both functional and intuitive

Mentoring & Practice Building

• Support and guide junior developers within the team, sharing knowledge and upholding delivery standards
• Contribute to internal capability building, reusable assets, and Power Platform community initiatives

What You Will Bring

✅ Must-Have

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 - 3 years of hands-on Power Platform development
• Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven apps), Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Proven track record delivering Power Platform solutions for enterprise clients
• Experience with integration patterns using REST APIs, custom connectors, and Microsoft 365 / Azure services
• Solid understanding of ALM practices, environment management, and solution deployment
• Agile delivery experience in a consulting or client-facing project environment
• Strong stakeholder communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident (this role is based in Singapore and we are prioritising local applicants)

⭐ Good-to-Have

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600)
• Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Power Automate Desktop (RPA), or Power Pages
• Familiarity with Azure services relevant to Power Platform (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure OpenAI)
• Prior exposure to public sector or regulated industry delivery
• Experience mentoring junior team members in a delivery context
