Steel Supervisor

Job Description:
1. Supervise daily steel fabrication and erection activities, ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.2. Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce all HSE policies on work sites.
3. Distribute work assignments to foremen, fitters, and welders, monitoring daily progress against production targets.
4. Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors for joint fit-up and weld visual inspections.
5. Ensure dimensional accuracy/requirements are constantly monitored
6. Ensure proper housekeeping and equipment upkeeping in the assigned work areas.
7. Track daily manpower attendance and manage overtime requests.
8. This position is required to be full-time based in Indonesia, Batam.
Requirements:
1. Technical certificate or Diploma; welding inspector certifications (e.g., CSWIP) is a plus.
2. At least 5-8 years working experience as a structural/steel supervisor in a shipyard.
3. Basic computer skills for daily reporting and email communication.
4. Able to work in Batam, Indonesia Full time
