The Officer, Corporate Planning provides management support to the Manager (Corporate Planning)
Responsibilities:
A. Financial Reports
- Support to initiate financial projection and forecast: Award, Work in Progress, G&A, Other Income/Expense and Cash Flow
- Support to analyze current and past financial data and performance
- Simplify complicated financial factors and develop a logical structure to support projections and forecasts
- Create any supporting material to give a concise presentation
B. Corporate Planning
- Support to initiate corporate business strategy for Obayashi Singapore Private Limited
- Support to incorporate information obtained from other sections into the business plan
- Support to develop presentation material for Management
C. Internal Control
- Prepare Internal Control Review for HQ
D. Other Corporate Tasks
- Support to arrange Annual Meetings, Board of Directors and Management Meetings
- Prepare minutes for these meetings
- Analyze economic data from BCA and any other resource
F. Joint Venture Related Entity
- Collect information from partnering company
- Prepare the financial report for HQ
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- At least 3 years of experience in handling Financial Statements, Taxes and Audit
- At least 1 years of experience in handling reporting
- Hold Certificate of Accountant or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong skill in initiating a financial projection and analyzing financial data
- Basic knowledge of commercial and construction contract law
- Good verbal and written communication skill
- Proficient in Japanese language would be an advantage, to be able to read and understand some of the reports from HQ.
