- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans to determine the scope of work and required materials.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials accurately, using hand and power tools, to build or repair structures such as walls, floors, doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Install structures, including framing, walls, partitions, and roofing systems, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
- Construct and install interior and exterior finishes, including trims, moldings, casings, doors, and windows for a polished and professional appearance.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and contractors, to ensure efficient project execution and resolve any construction issues or modifications.
- Inspect structures to identify and correct any defects or deficiencies, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out wooden structures, fixtures, or furniture.
- Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring their proper functionality and organization.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technology advancements, and building codes to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
