Job Description -
1. Student Engagement &Mentoring
The Youth Worker is expected toconduct weekly sessions, small group mentoring, regular check-ins, andgoal-setting activities with identified students to support their personaldevelopment and academic engagement.
2 Behavioural &Emotional Support
The Youth Worker is expected toprovide support in emotional regulation, conflict management, and restorativeconversations to help students manage their behaviour and build healthyrelationships.
3 School Connectedness
The Youth Worker is expected toactively foster a sense of belonging, positive student identity, and activeparticipation in school life among the students they work with.
4 Preventive Intervention
The YouthWorker is responsible for the early identification of concerns and thestrengthening of protective factors to prevent escalation of at-riskbehaviours.
Salary Range - $30 - $50 per hrs.
