Corporate Affairs and Communication Manager (7 Months Contract)

Job Description & Requirements
Support the Corporate Affairs and Communications (CA&C) Director in anticipating and shaping changes in the Operating Environment in Singapore, Australia and Thailand to minimise commercial risk and maximise competitive opportunity for the company, by developing, recommending and managing approved strategies and programmes in a responsible and proactive manner.

Conceptualise and implement external communication strategies and monitors the local political, economic, social and regulatory issues which may have business impact on Company and its operating environment.

Ensure the sustainable and sustained engagement of internal and external stakeholders

As Corporate Affairs and Communication Manager Singapore, you will be responsible for the following:

• Corporate Affairs
  Proactively monitor and analyze local and international tobacco-control and regulatory developments, assessing their potential impact on the SAT cluster. Collaborate with CA&C teammates, cluster cross-functional teams and HQ to develop and implement strategic initiatives that mitigate risks, secure license to operate, and drive commercial success.
• External Communication and Media Relations
  Develop and execute impactful media campaign for Singapore and/or the cluster, including both traditional and social media. Develop and/or maintain relationships with relevant media, both local and international, to ensure relevant coverage of key initiatives and messages. Proactively monitor local traditional and social media, analyzing key developments and delivering actionable insights to the local ExCom in a timely manner.
• Internal Communications
  Create and manage comprehensive corporate and internal communication plans and campaigns for CA&C initiatives, partnering with P&C to enhance employee engagement and ensure clear communication of key CA&C messages to all market functions. Support GM and local leadership on Leadership Communications on relevant internal platforms.
• Stakeholder Management
  Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, tobacco industry associations, business partners, and media outlets. Proactively identify and engage potential allies to advance business objectives.
• CSR and Sustainability
  Develop, implement and manage meaningful and sustainable corporate social responsiblity programs in close coordination with all internal market functions as a means to boost our external corporate reputation to relevant third-party stakeholders and as a key engagement tool with our market employees and business partners.
• People management (if applicable)
  Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.
• Other (if applicable)
  Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request.

Requirements:

• University degree or above preferably in communications or equivalent educational background
• Min. 3 years of prior working experience in Corporate Communications and/or Government Affairs in an International company, government, or relevant business associations.
• Excellent communication skills, strong fluency in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, strong written communication and presentations skills. Teamwork qualities are a must and exposure to one or more of Asia's developed markets is highly desirable.
