We are looking for a motivated Service Technician to join our regional Service Team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide technical support across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region for marine and industrial equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, customer interaction, and regional travel.
Comprehensive training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of marine and industrial equipment.
- Carry out equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and on-site servicing.
- Prepare accurate service reports and technical documentation after each assignment.
- Coordinate service schedules and work closely with internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Support warehouse operations, inventory management, and maintenance of service tools and equipment.
- Provide professional technical support and maintain good customer relationships.
- Travel within Singapore and overseas for service assignments as required.
Requirements:
- ITE, Diploma, or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with marine equipment, diesel engines, gearboxes, generators, or rotating equipment is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with limited experience are welcome to apply. Structured on-the-job training will be provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and in both workshop and on-site environments.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Manual Driving Licence.
- Willing to travel overseas on short notice when required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
