MANAGING DIRECTOR (COMPANY)

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Build long-term business plans to increase shipyard profitability, market share, and operational efficiency.
- Operations Oversight : Manage end-to-end shipbuilding, conversion, and ship-repair workflows from contract award to final vessel delivery.
- Financial Management : Control annual budgets, capital expenditures, cost-reduction targets, and corporate financial performance.
- Business Development : Build key relationships with ship owners, maritime operators, and defense contractors to secure new project bids.
- Safety and Compliance : Enforce global maritime safety rules, environmental laws, and quality control standards (HSE).
- Team Leadership : Guide department heads across production, naval architecture, engineering, procurement, and human resources
Requirements
- Experience : 25 or more years of senior leadership experience managing heavy industrial, manufacturing, or maritime shipyard operations.
- Skills : Deep expertise in corporate finance, P&L management, maritime contract negotiation, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge : Strong familiarity with international maritime regulations, classification societies, and steel fabrication workflows
