Key Responsibilities
- Manage full month-end and year-end financial closing for assigned entities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and internal controls
- Coordinate audits and support tax/GST filings with external stakeholders
- Partner with business teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Drive process improvements and automation using ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and Excel
- Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to support business growth and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent is preferred
- Prior experience in Big 4 or public accounting firms will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is preferred
- Exposure to fintech, technology, or multinational/multi-entity business environments is an advantage
- Ability to interpret technical accounting matters and translate financial information into meaningful business insights
