1.Preparing accurate bills of quantities and cost estimates for construction projects
2. Managing project costs, budgets and financial forecasts throughout the construction lifecycle
3. Conducting cost planning and value engineering to optimise project budgets
4. Reviewing and analysing tender documents and contractor submissions
5. Preparing variation orders and managing contract variations
6. Liaising with contractors, clients, architects and engineers to resolve cost and contractual matters
7. Monitoring project expenditure and providing regular financial reports to project stakeholders
8. Preparing final accounts and settling contractual disputes
9. Ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and contract terms
10. Conducting site inspections and measurements to verify work progress and quality
