Senior Quantity Surveyor (ACMV)

Job Description:

. Attend tender briefings, site surveys, site show-rounds, and tender interviews during the tender stages

. Analyze and evaluate tender specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine project scope, pricing, and associated costs within the required submission timelines.

. Review tender documents thoroughly and prepare tender clarifications and queries within the stipulated deadlines

. Manage and participate in both public and private sector tender submissions

. Prepare and submit Design & Build (D&B)tenders

. Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and technical submissions

. Source, evaluate, and negotiate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for tender costing

. Review project budgets and recommend the most competitive pricing strategies for tender submissions

. Prepare, assess, and submit monthly progress claims and evaluate subcontractors' monthly progress payment claims

. Evaluate and certify work completed, administer contract variations, and manage both main contract and subcontract documentation

. Review contracts, Letters of Award (LOA), and Letters of Intent (LOI), and provide advice to management on contractual matters

. Prepare and award subcontracts, including all related contractual documentation

. Finalize and negotiate both main contract and subcontract final accounts

Requirement:

. Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or equivalent

. Minimum 5 years of local working experience in construction industry

. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit will be preferred

. Well versed in both public and private conditions of contract used in Singapore

. Strong negotiation, interpersonal skills and a team player

. Meticulous in work and analytical skill in problem solving

. Able to work under pressure
