Job Summary:

Prosegur Singapore is seeking a meticulous and organized Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Processing invoices, verifying purchase orders, and preparing payments to vendors. Ensuring timely and accurate recording of all payables.
• Accounts Receivable: Assisting in the preparation of invoices, tracking outstanding payments, and following up with clients on overdue accounts.
• Bank Reconciliation: Performing regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between company records and bank statements.
• General Ledger Support: Assisting in maintaining the general ledger, including posting journal entries and reconciling various accounts.
• Data Entry: Accurately entering financial data into the accounting system.
• Filing and Record Keeping: Maintaining organized financial records, both physical and digital.
• Support to Finance Team: Providing administrative and clerical support to the finance department as required.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Undertaking other accounting-related tasks and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts assistant or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
