Project Manager

Job Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and oversee construction and renovation projects from commencement to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage project schedules, manpower, materials and resources.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule.
- Review construction drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project costs, variations, procurement and overall budget.
- Attend project and site meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and completion of works.
- Identify project risks and resolve site and coordination issues.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare progress reports and update management/client on project status.
- Oversee testing, inspection, rectification, handover and project close-out.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or related discipline .
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction, renovation, building, civil engineering or related industries.
- Proven experience managing construction projects from planning through completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project coordination and site management.
- Able to read and understand architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
- Good knowledge of project scheduling, cost control and contract administration.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD / project management software is an advantage.
- Able to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Relevant safety certifications or construction-related qualifications will be an advantage.
- Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
