Inventory & Purchasing Assistant

Location: East, Bedok

Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Verification of Goods
  - Receive and inspect incoming goods from suppliers.
  - Verify quantities and conditions against delivery orders and purchase orders.
  - Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Data Entry & Documentation
  - Accurately key in delivery orders and other relevant documents into the inventory.
  - Maintain up-to-date records of stock movement and transactions.
  - Organize and file both physical and digital documents systematically for easy retrieval.
• Inventory Control
  - Assist in monthly and ad-hoc stock taking.
  - Help reconcile physical stock with system records.
  - Flag and report discrepancies to the relevant department.
• Reporting & Communication
  - Generate and update inventory or stock movement reports as required.
  - Communicate with suppliers or internal departments to clarify order or stock issues.
• Administrative Support
  - Support other clerical tasks as assigned, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
• System & Process Compliance
  - Ensure all data entry and record-keeping follows company procedures and policies.
  - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,800 - $2,200 per month depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)

Job Requirements:

• Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR) only.
• Candidate must possess at least a O'Level Certificate .
• Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of inventory processes and documentation .
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry .
• Proficient in Microsoft Office , especially Excel .
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage .
