Field Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain semiconductor processing and manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
• Inspect and test semiconductor wafers and devise using tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters and current meters.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Document and analyze production data, equipment performance, and process deviations.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and improve manufacturing protocols.
• Follow cleanroom protocols and safety procedure when handling sensitive materials.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies required for semiconductor production.
• To create initial design from customer feedback on new opportunity.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• ITE/Diploma or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronic with relevant experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Have experience with specialized equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLC) & other industrial control machineries, will be an additional advantage.
