Requirement:

• Adequate experience in the logistics and operation domains, related processes and business tools to support the day-to-day requirement of work.
• Related background not necessary however prior experiences preferred regarding logistics planner position to ensure minimal and seamless onboarding of staff into position.
• Analytical and able to perform analysis using available tools

Responsibilities:

Summary:
• Ensure all shipping instructions are issued on timely basis to Natural Rubber suppliers, Shipping Lines, 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) and packaging suppliers for on-time arrival of shipments to destinations globally. Planner should possess the skillsets and tools necessary to enable the efficient functioning of business processes.
Responsibilities: Issue of Shipping Instructions (SI)
• Timeliness of SI issuance is critical to the on-time departure from origin and arrival of raw materials to all Michelin plants worldwide.
• Monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting of all operational issues encountered to find the best course of action for shipments of cargo.
• Taking raw material leadtime and preparations into consideration when issuing SIs and dynamic situation concerning maritime activities, staff should possess the analytical and solutions-finding ability and/or come up with alternative solutions to resolve blockages.
Logistics Coordination with Stakeholders
• Equipped with a portfolio of suppliers and rubber grades under his/her charge, planner is required to handle the orders portfolio and monitoring of execution all in accordance with time. This include, the effective liaising with relevant partners to ensure on-time deliveries and service commitment. In addition, to proactively alert stakeholders in case of any event of delays, failure and participates in the search for solutions.
• In the event of issues, the planner must have the ability to analyze and identify the root cause of issue and implement corrective actions to remedy situation. This include cross communications with rubber suppliers, shipping lines representatives and 3PL entities.
Business Requirement
• Provide detailed information on practices and tools to display effective monitoring of shipments and actions in place to address issues in the event of unexpected circumstance. (cargo delays, space capacity challenges etc).
• He/She must be acquainted with analysis of data management and to propose solutions to improve logistics procedures with new and/or existing working methods.
• Assisting with the Natural Rubber/Composite Rubber/Synthetic Rubber documentation.
Release deployment
• In the event of staff participating in workshops and Re-design programme, staff is able to independently organize, execute, monitor shipments from all origins and destinations during the period of absence from team.
Training & Change management
• In case of Local Training Responsible (RFO) or Project team's request, the Key-User can fully or partially be a trainer for: - Operating of existing ENDUR/Logistics Planning Tool (LPT) - Partake in the mock new system for contribution of User Experiences - New comer training - He/She contributes to the change management by sharing key messages on process &/or tool evolutions.
