Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Backend) to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract
- Position: Full Stack Engineer (Backend-focused)
- Location: Paya Lebar
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
- Salary Package: Up to $6,900 + Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a cloud-based digital platform.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, business logic, and workflow-driven applications.
- Design and optimise relational databases to ensure performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Support application deployment, CI/CD pipelines, database migrations, and cloud-based environments.
- Implement secure coding practices and resolve security findings to ensure production readiness.
- Perform unit, API, and integration testing to maintain application quality.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js or NestJS.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, relational database design, and query optimisation.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Familiar with authentication and authorisation concepts (e.g. OAuth2, JWT, RBAC).
- Exposure to AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git.
- Good understanding of secure coding practices, application security, and software testing.
