Job Description & Requirements:
- Assist Project Engineers in supervising and coordinating site works related to plumbing and sanitary systems.
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure work progresses according to schedule and standards.
- Carry out site inspections to ensure workmanship and installation meet quality expectations.
- Support in preparing material take-offs and coordinating with store personnel for material issuance.
- Ensure proper usage, storage, and handling of materials and tools to reduce waste.
- Relay and implement work instructions issued by Project Engineers and Project Managers.
- Brief workers on daily work tasks, safety procedures, and ensure use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure that all workers comply with safety rules and site regulations at all times.
- Prepare basic daily work reports and submit progress updates to the Project Engineer.
- Assist in resolving site-level coordination or manpower issues as instructed.
Qualifications:
- Technical or vocational certificate/diploma in Mechanical, Building Services, Plumbing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in plumbing, sanitary, or general construction works.
- Able to read basic construction and isometric drawings.
- Familiar with common plumbing materials, tools, and on-site practices.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures and construction site protocols.
Preferred Attributes:
- Responsible and proactive team player with a hands-on attitude.
- Able to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in a construction environment.
- Good communication skills and able to coordinate with site workers effectively.
- Strong sense of discipline, punctuality, and attention to work details.
