Responsibilities & Requirements
- Safely operate and monitor works trains during railway maintenance and construction activities
- Adhere to established railway safety procedures, operating guidelines and worksite requirements.
- Carry out routine pre-operation checks on the works train and related equipment.
- Coordinate closely with site personnel and operations teams to support smooth and safe work activities.
- Monitor train and equipment conditions and promptly report any defects, faults or operational concerns.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Previous experience in railway, train operations, construction or a related environment will be an advantage.
- Physically fit and medically suitable for worksite activities.
- Willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays when required.
- Good safety awareness with a responsible and disciplined approach to work.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Training and on-the-job guidance provided.
