Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacture of Special Purpose Machinery
- Position Title: Purchaser and Material Planning
- Working Location: Kallang
- Working Hours: Mon-Fri: 8am – 5.30pm
- Salary Package: Basic salary $2,500 - $2,800 + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Plan materials based on forecasts and purchase orders.
- Monitor stock levels and arrange purchases when needed.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders for materials, tools, and packaging items.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
- Communicate with suppliers to agree on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors on product specifications and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and submit documents (e.g., PO acknowledgements, invoices) to the Accounts team for payment processing.
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to manage delivery schedules.
- Record incoming goods in the system daily.
- Support annual supplier performance reviews.

- Able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external business partners.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
