Job Summary
Prepare a variety of bakery items including breads, cakes, and savouries with consistent quality and presentation. Manage dough handling, baking, stock control, and hygiene to ensure efficient daily production.
Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic bakery items including breads, cakes, savouries, and snacks such as veg puffs, khara buns, dil pasand, and honey cake
- Handle dough preparation, fillings, baking processes, and manage daily production schedules
- Maintain consistent taste, quality, portion sizes, and presentation standards for all bakery products
- Monitor and control stock levels to ensure availability of ingredients and minimise wastage
- Maintain hygiene standards throughout the bakery production area to comply with food safety requirements
- Operate commercial baking equipment effectively to support production needs
- Manage daily bakery production independently to meet demand and quality expectations
- Work flexibly on shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support bakery operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant bakery experience
- Strong experience in bakery products inspired by Iyengar-style traditions
