System Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Business Analysis

• Gather and document business requirements and user stories from business users and process owners.
• Analyze and document as-is and to-be processes , including impact assessments and effort estimates.
• Support automation of management reporting, problem management, release planning, service delivery, and project management processes.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities and support implementation.
• Monitor requirements, scope, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns to Project Managers or Team Leads.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and knowledge bases.

Project Coordination & Reporting

• Track project timelines, key deliverables, milestones, and deadlines across multiple workstreams.
• Assist Project Managers and Team Leads with project tracking, budget monitoring, and deliverable management .
• Prepare daily and periodic project status reports for internal and outsourced projects.
• Support development and maintenance of management dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely completion of project activities.

Testing & Defect Management

• Support testing activities and review test findings with testing teams.
• Analyse and classify reported issues as valid defects, data issues, or change requests .
• Coordinate with relevant teams to clarify requirements and support timely resolution of defects.

Stakeholder Management

• Work with Business Users, Process Owners, Project Governance, Process Assurance, Resource Management, Compliance, Risk, and technical teams.
• Facilitate communication between business and technology teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, issues, and outstanding actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline .
• 1–3 years of experience in Business Analysis, IT System Analysis, Project Coordination, or a related technology role .
• Knowledge of the IT project lifecycle, requirements gathering, process analysis, and software testing .
• Experience working with technical delivery teams and/or within the banking or financial services environment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
