Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial modelling and analysis for prospective real estate investments.
- Assist in preparing investment proposals, investment papers, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Perform market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the real estate sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including brokers, legal advisors, and property managers.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investment properties, including site visits and inspections.
- Monitor and report on the performance of current real estate investments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to identify practical solutions to challenges.
- Be prepared for extensive travel as the firm has a global investment mandate.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant finance experience, ideally within real estate, investment, or asset management environments.
- Strong interest in a career in real estate investment and asset management.
- Proficiency in financial statements, financial analysis, and investment concepts.
- Strong Excel skills with experience in financial modelling preferred.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to research, interpret, and synthesise financial and market information effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly.
- Proactive, inquisitive, and commercially aware, with a readiness to learn and assume responsibility.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
