Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of developers to deliver Python/Pyspark data engineering solutions for a critical Trade Surveillance project, collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging Gen AI to enhance productivity and delivery quality.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide Python developers and automation engineers to build high-quality data engineering products
- Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve code quality and team performance
- Manage and coordinate a team of 30+ developers and automation engineers to meet project goals
- Develop and execute delivery plans in collaboration with Bank stakeholders to ensure timely project completion
- Oversee RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management to mitigate project risks
- Implement and leverage Generative AI solutions to enhance productivity and improve delivery outcomes
Required competencies and certifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Python developer or architect
- Proven skills in managing people and stakeholders effectively to drive project success
- Verified ability to design and build Generative AI utilities and agents to support project objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in trade surveillance or other banking/compliance domains
