I am representing a long‑established global education and training provider with presence in more than 30 countries and known for helping learners, professionals, and organisations achieve academic and career advancement.
As part of their business expansion, they are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager that drives regional growth by building strategic relationships, expanding the customer base, and shaping commercial opportunities across key markets.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, your responsibilities would includes
- Lead business development efforts across multiple markets, prioritising high‑potential segments and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape, refine, and execute the overall enterprise sales and business development strategy.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, including pipeline development, performance metrics, and KPI tracking.
- Identify high‑growth commercial opportunities across existing learning products, government‑funded initiatives, and adjacent enterprise training markets.
- Engage C‑Suite, HR, and L&D leaders across major corporations, private enterprises, and public institutions to uncover skills gaps and workforce development needs.
- Propose, negotiate, and close tailored short‑course programs, executive workshops, and enterprise‑wide training solutions aligned with industry demands.
Skills and experience required
- Proven track record in senior B2B commercial sales, enterprise business development, and strategic account management within professional education, corporate training, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and act on go‑to‑market strategies, partnership value propositions, and commercial business cases.
- Strong network and experience engaging professional bodies, governing institutes, and corporate employers.
