Job Summary
Promote and sell the organization’s products and services within assignedterritories and customer accounts, driving revenue growth by meeting orexceeding sales targets through strategic customer engagement and marketanalysis.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by promoting and selling products and services within assigned geographic areas, product ranges, or customer accounts to achieve or surpass revenue targets
- Pursue and qualify sales leads by visiting existing and new customers to assess their needs and recommend appropriate products and services
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries to enhance customer satisfaction and support sales closure
- Negotiate prices and delivery schedules within authorized limits to finalize sales orders that meet revenue objectives
- Identify and research prospective customers to build and maintain positive relationships that foster repeat business and future sales opportunities
- Communicate sales leads, customer feedback, and competitor activity insights to relevant internal teams to enable responsive market strategies
- Develop and implement annual, monthly, weekly, and daily sales plans by prioritizing and scheduling activities to consistently meet sales targets
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in Japanese language to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders
- Experience in procurement or supply chain operations within the FMCG sector to understand product logistics and customer requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Marketing and sales skills relevant to promoting and selling products effectively
- Knowledge of the products sold by the organization to provide accurate and persuasive customer recommendations
