Description
We are looking for a dedicated Material Usage Management Intern to assist our Engineers in the Manufacturing department in projects, problem resolutions and improvements, and real time usage rate tracking.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating existing manufacturing material control processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
- Developing material usage report for real time usage rate tracking and target setting purpose.
- Developing and implementing material cost optimizing measures.
- Developing report for material usage forecast and safety stock management.
- Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports.
Required Experience and Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or any engineering-related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Bi.
- Strong analytical thinker.
