- Manage end-to-end airfreight export operations, including shipment bookings, export documentation, cargo coordination, export customs clearance arrangements, billing, and shipment closure.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding export shipments, providing timely updates, responding to enquiries, and resolving operational issues.
- Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking providers, customs authorities, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and established operational procedures.
- Take ownership of complex or high-value shipments, proactively addressing delays, documentation discrepancies, and export clearance queries.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, documentation accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, operational reports, and supporting documentation for internal reviews, customer requirements, and regulatory purposes.
- Provide operational guidance to junior customer service staff on airfreight export procedures, shipment documentation, and established work practices.
- Escalate unresolved customer complaints and operational issues to management, ensuring timely follow-up and appropriate resolution.
