Bayes is representing an International Specialist Contractor on a Business Development, Tenders & Bids Management role
Drive new client and project acquisition to meet sales and profitability targets in the geotechnical/ground engineering construction sector
Build market intelligence, client networks and strong relationships
Track industry trends and competitor activity
Review tender team bid proposals and make go/no-go decisions with senior leadership
Act as Bid Manager on major projects and lead client negotiations on bid and contract terms
Coach and develop the business development and tender teams to hit performance targets
Champion and safeguard the company's brand and reputation
Requirements:
Degree in a relevant Engineering or Business related discipline with 3-5 years of direct Business Development related exposure
Experience within the Built-Environment will be required, but not specific to Construction. Acceptable markets such as Construction/Main-Con/Sub-Con Tenders/QS, Consultancy, Architectural Solutions, Building Products are applicable
The ability to present and carry yourself well is important for the success of this role.
