Job Summary
Join our well-established boutique accounting and corporate services firm as a Senior Accounts Executive, gaining hands-on experience managing diverse client accounts and developing practical client-handling skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients as the primary contact for accounting matters to ensure accurate and timely service
- Develop and sustain effective working relationships with clients to provide responsive support and address their accounting needs
- Independently prepare full sets of accounts for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Provide on-site accounting support at clients’ offices to maintain up-to-date accounting records
- Prepare GST returns in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
- Compile unaudited financial statements to support client reporting needs
- Prepare tax computations and manage related tax matters to meet client requirements
- Assist with simple corporate secretarial assignments to support team objectives
- Identify and resolve accounting issues promptly when required
- Mentor and guide junior staff to enhance team capability and performance
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification
- Proficient in preparing full sets of accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and accounting principles
- Effective problem-solving skills applied to client management and accounting challenges
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating directly with clients to enhance professional delivery
