Job Summary
To ensure a safe and efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods to customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive goods and accurately place them in designated storage locations to maintain inventory organization
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently to meet dispatch and shipping schedules
- Perform value-added services on customer-ordered goods to enhance product readiness
- Follow proper component handling procedures to prevent damage and ensure quality
- Move stock using trolleys or hand-pallet jacks safely and efficiently within the warehouse
- Conduct inventory cycle counts as required to maintain accurate stock records
- Apply manual handling procedures correctly when lifting and moving products to ensure safety
- Operate in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations to protect self and others
- Report any discrepancies, abnormalities, or potential safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas through daily housekeeping to support operational efficiency
- Suggest improvements to processes to increase efficiency and add value to the organization
- Perform any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team and operational needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- N-Level or O-Level education preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak simple English to communicate effectively in the workplace
- Proficient in PC literacy to perform basic computer tasks related to warehouse operations
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Positive, can-do attitude to adapt to changing tasks and challenges
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing
- Ability to plan and organize work to meet deadlines and operational requirements
- Flexible approach to assigned duties and tasks to support dynamic work environment
- Understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of errors or poor quality on costs
- Awareness of health and safety requirements relevant to warehouse operations
- Experience in warehouse environments preferred but not required; training provided
