Sushi Chef

What You Will Learn

This is a unique opportunity to learn both  Kitchen + Floor Management .

KITCHEN SKILLS

You will receive hands-on training in:

• Sushi preparation and sushi skills
• Japanese cuisine
• Sashimi and seafood handling
• Charcoal grilling / Robatayaki
• Food preparation and kitchen operations
• Food quality and kitchen management

Our experienced  Sushi Chef will personally guide and train you.

FLOOR & MANAGEMENT SKILLS

You will also learn:

• Japanese-style hospitality
• Customer service
• Floor operations
• Sake and Japanese beverage knowledge
• Food and sake recommendations
• Sales and upselling
• Staff training
• Team leadership
• Restaurant operations
• Restaurant management

Our restaurant management team will train you directly in how to operate and eventually lead a restaurant.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about food and restaurants
• Interested in Japanese cuisine and sushi

• Comfortable working in both the kitchen and service floor

• Looking to build a long-term career in the F&B industry

Some F&B experience is preferred, but  extensive experience is not necessary .

SALARY

S$2,800 – S$3,600 per month

Starting salary depends on experience, skills and ability.
