Business Development Manager

Khao is a fast-growing quick-service F&B brand in Singapore, known for its build-your-own and signature rice and salad bowls served across multiple outlets islandwide. Having built a strong retail footprint, we are now investing in a dedicated corporate sales function to grow B2B revenue - corporate catering, office lunch programmes, institutional tenders and event catering -as a complement to our outlet-based retail sales.
We are looking for a driven, hands-on, entrepreneurial Business Development & Corporate Sales Manager to build this channel from the ground up: identifying and winning new corporate accounts, managing key catering-platform relationships, and turning early wins into a repeatable, scalable revenue stream.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Generation
• Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate accounts -offices, hospitals and other institutions, for catering, bulk orders and staff meal programmes.
• Build and manage relationships with corporate catering platforms (e.g. Caterspot, Foodline) and direct B2B clients.
• Represent the company at industry events, corporate networking sessions and client meetings to build a strong pipeline.
Corporate Sales Growth & Account Management
• Own the monthly corporate sales target and drive consistent month-on-month growth.
• Manage the full sales cycle - lead generation, proposal development, pricing negotiation, closing and after-sales service.
• Maintain and grow existing corporate accounts, ensuring high satisfaction, repeat business and referrals.
• Develop tailored proposals and value-added offerings(e.g. menu customisation, event packages, recurring meal plans) to win and retain accounts.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with Operations and Kitchen teams to ensure corporate orders are fulfilled reliably, on time and as per SOPs.
• Coordinate with Marketing on relevant collateral, pricing proposals and submissions.
• Liaise with Finance on pricing, margins and invoicing for corporate accounts.
Reporting & Forecasting
• Track and report on corporate sales performance against targets on a monthly basis.
• Provide regular pipeline updates and revenue forecasts to management.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the corporate catering and institutional F&B space.
