Job Description
- Provide specialised support and guidance to students with additional needs (SWANS).
- Plan, customise and implement structured UPLIFT support programmes.
- Monitor student progress and maintain programme records and resources.
- Conduct twice-weekly student check-ins and provide follow-up support.
- Provide individual and group support for students facing academic, social or emotional challenges.
- Build positive relationships and implement early intervention strategies.
- Conduct workshops for students and staff, such as conflict resolution sessions.
- Work closely with Year Heads, School Counsellors, Form Teachers and programme providers.
- Communicate with parents/caregivers regardingidentified students.
- Prepare regular reports on student progress for school staff and leaders
Requirements
- Experience: Preferably 3 years’ direct experience working with at-risk children/youths.
- Experience supporting students with behavioural ,emotional or learning needs through interventions, mentoring or developmental programmes.
- Qualification: Degree in a relevant field from are cognised institution.
- Relevant fields include Social Work, Counselling,Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child/Adolescent Development or equivalent.
- MOE Registration: Must be registered with MOE as of the ITQ closing date
