We are looking for Service Manager – Housekeeping to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership- Ensure adherence to Shangri-La’s housekeeping standards and SOPs.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and general cleaning schedules.
- Monitor inventory of operating equipment and linen supplies.
People & Performance Management
- Prepare and review manning guides and rosters.
- Lead training programmes and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment and team communication.
- Guide staff in career development and disciplinary matters.
Guest Experience & Service Quality
- Handle guest interactions with professionalism and care.
- Collect and act on guest preferences and feedback.
- Ensure service defects are logged and resolved promptly.
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records for training, inventory, and reports.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and environmental standards are upheld.
- Participate in CSR initiatives and hotel-wide activities.
- Comply with ISO 14001/18001 and Integrated Management System (IMS).
Key Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ working experience under the housekeeping department within the hospitality industry with supervisory/managerial responsibilities.
