About Our Client
My client is a leading integrated healthcare provider with a strong presence in Singapore and Malaysia, specializing in women's and children's health, fertility, and tertiary care services. They are actively expanding their footprint through large-scale hospital developments and aim to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the region.
Job Description
- Oversee the full lifecycle of development projects from planning to commissioning, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Supervise design, procurement, approvals, and on-site construction activities to meet quality, timeline, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, and authorities to drive project success.
- Lead project meetings and report progress and key updates to senior management.
- Develop budgets, manage costs, identify risks, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Oversee adherence to local regulations, health & safety standards, and obtain all required permits and licenses.
- Implement QA frameworks, manage inspections, and ensure a smooth transition to operational readiness.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the department head.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields; specialization in Civil or Structural Engineering is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, including at least 5 years in infrastructure or large-scale development projects.
- Technical Knowledge - Strong understanding of construction methodologies, regulatory frameworks, and design principles.
- Experience with SEA markets will be beneficial as the role will oversee development markets
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills with a high level of organization and problem-solving ability.
