Job Summary
Maintain safety and security within the hotel premises by conducting patrols, investigating incidents, and reporting harmful activities to protect guests, employees, and property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain peace and order within the hotel premises to ensure safety for guests, patrons, employees, and hotel property
- Prevent break-ins and unauthorized access to secured and protected areas
- Conduct regular patrols throughout all hotel areas to monitor security conditions
- Investigate incidents such as disturbances, accidents, losses, and thefts occurring within the hotel
- Report activities harmful to the hotel business, including pimping, prostitution, gambling, touting syndicates, internal collusion, theft, and dishonesty
- Follow the fire emergency plan and take appropriate action when fire alarms are activated
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in security logs and reports
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid PLRD license to perform security duties
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in the hospitality industry is an advantage
- Demonstrate analytical thinking, tactfulness, and ability to work independently
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
