Providend is looking for an Executive, Media Production to bring our advisory expertise to life through compelling video and podcast content. Sitting within the Group Brand Experience team, you will own the full content production lifecycle —from scripting through filming, distribution and performance tracking. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who enjoys building content that educates and engages, and who takes pride in a well-run studio and a polished final product.
What You'll Do
Content Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with the Brand team to understand the firm's goals, target audience and key messages, and shape content strategy accordingly.
- Brainstorm and plan engaging, informative video and podcast topics that align with the overall marketing and business strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor content and popular formats to keep content timely, relevant and valuable.
Scriptwriting & Storyboarding
- Write clear, concise scripts and outlines for video and podcast episodes that align with the content strategy and brand voice.
- Develop storyboards or shot lists to plan the visual flow of video content, even for simple formats such as talking-head videos or interviews.
- Prepare guests featured in podcasts or videos with questions, topics and background information for smooth interviews.
Production Management
- Manage the full recording and filming process, including setting up and operating cameras, lighting and audio equipment.
- Ensure strong sound and video quality, particularly in a small studio setting that requires careful equipment setup.
- Direct on-screen talent (e.g. wealth advisers, clients) during filming or recording, and manage the technical side of podcast recording.
- Set up and maintain the studio space, including equipment, props and backdrops, ensuring readiness for every shoot.
Post-Production & Editing
- Collaborate with Video Editor to turn raw footage into polished video content to be in line with brand tone.
- Edit podcast audio for clarity, remove background noise, balance sound levels and add intro/outro music and branding.
- Optimise videos and podcasts for different platforms (YouTube, social media, website, etc.), ensuring correct formats and sizes.
- Ensure all videos and podcasts reflect the firm's brand identity, including logo placement, colour scheme and tone of voice.
Distribution & Promotion
- Manage uploads and distribution across platforms such as YouTube and podcast directories (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.).
- Work with the marketing team to promote content across channels, driving website traffic and client engagement.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track content performance using analytics tools (e.g. YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, podcast platform insights).
- Use data and feedback to refine content strategy, identifying which topics and formats resonate most with the audience.
Client & Team Communication
- Collaborate with advisers and team members to gather insights and create content that reflects their expertise and the firm's values.
- Keep internal stakeholders informed of the content schedule, production timelines and upcoming releases.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Stay current on new content trends, production techniques and tools that can improve content quality and reach.
- Solicit feedback from stakeholders and the audience to continually refine the content creation process.
Graphic Design & Branding
- Ensure all video, podcast and digital content is consistent with the firm's branding guidelines (colours, fonts, logos, etc.).

What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Media Production, Film, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Fresh Grad or 1-2 years of relevant experience in video production, podcast production, or content creation.
- Strong understanding of content production workflows — pre-production through production, post-production and distribution.
- Hands-on experience with filming, editing, and content production tools.
- Familiarity with editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition, or equivalents).
- Experience with basic studio setup (camera, lighting, audio equipment).
- Exposure to content platforms (e.g. YouTube, podcast platforms, social media distribution).
- Possess initiative, drive and exceptional attention to detail
- Is an independent worker, able to work without much guidance
- Is driven, tenacious and possess a strong work ethic
- Is a strong team player
- Able to commit from end of November 2026 to end of March 2027, with possibility of conversion to Permanent
Nice to have:
- Certifications in media production, digital marketing, or content strategy.
- Experience working in a professional services or education-led content environment.
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g. YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics).
- Awareness of digital content trends, formats and platform behaviours across YouTube, social media and podcasts.
- Understanding of branding and storytelling principles, especially in an educational or thought-leadership context.
- Basic understanding of audience engagement and content performance metrics.
- An appreciation of financial and wealth concepts, with the ability to translate complex ideas into accessible content.
