Full Stack Engineer – AI Platform
- 12-month contract - Extendable

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a technology team working on AI and data-driven platforms . The successful candidate will be responsible for developing scalable applications and data solutions, working across backend, cloud, data engineering and AI/ML capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications and scalable backend services.
- Develop robust solutions using Python and modern software engineering practices.
- Work with AWS cloud services to build, deploy and support cloud-based applications.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries and work with large-scale datasets.
- Work with Apache Spark / PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML teams to integrate machine learning and AI capabilities into applications.
- Contribute to projects involving LLM / Generative AI technologies.
- Participate in system design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of applications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development .
- Solid experience in AWS and cloud-based application development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark .
- Experience working with data engineering, ML or AI-related projects .
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with Databricks .
- Exposure to Machine Learning solutions and frameworks.
- Experience working with LLMs / Generative AI .
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML platforms .
- Familiarity with modern DevOps, CI/CD and cloud deployment practices.
