The Job:

Game Reign is looking for talented and experienced individuals to create a new experience for mobile. This position will focus on the creative design of mobile content and you will be expected to wear many hats! The ideal candidate will have strong motivation to learn on the job, outstanding people skills, boundless creativity, extensive knowledge of the games, and a longstanding passion for playing games.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Development: Generate and develop original game concepts, proposals, characters, and storylines that engage and captivate players.
• Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure a cohesive creative vision throughout the development process.
• Game Mechanics: Contribute to the design and refinement of gameplay mechanics, ensuring they are fun, engaging, and aligned with the game's vision.
• Prototyping: Create prototypes and mock-ups to visualize and communicate ideas effectively to the team.
• Feedback and Iteration: Participate in playtesting sessions, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to enhance the overall player experience.
• Market Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor games to inspire and inform creative decisions.

Qualifications, Skills & Preferences:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Art, Creative Writing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative work in game design, art, or narrative development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly.
• Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of player engagement and experience.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Photoshop, Canva)
• Conversational Mandarin proficiency required for business communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
