Salary Package : Up to $9,000 + AWS
Employment Type : Contract (2-year renewable with opportunities for permanent conversion)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Identity & Endpoint Security Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise identity and endpoint security solutions within a large-scale Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on Zero Trust security, identity governance, endpoint protection, automation, and cloud security, ensuring users, devices, and applications remain secure and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and administer enterprise identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
- Manage identity lifecycle processes, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Identity Protection, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and passwordless authentication.
- Engineer, deploy and maintain Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, and endpoint security solutions to strengthen the organisation's security posture.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Purview, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Data Classification, and eDiscovery.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Microsoft Graph API to streamline identity management, security operations, and reporting.
- Build dashboards and reporting capabilities using tools such as Power BI, Kusto Query Language (KQL), Endpoint Analytics, Dynatrace, and Axonius.
- Develop self-service solutions to improve user experience and reduce operational support effort.
- Work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to investigate security incidents, remediate vulnerabilities, and implement security improvements.
- Translate business requirements into secure and scalable infrastructure solutions that meet availability, security, resilience, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure infrastructure and security solutions comply with organisational IT governance and security policies.
- Manage infrastructure enhancement initiatives, vendor engagements, maintenance contracts, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver enterprise infrastructure and security services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor team members on identity, endpoint security, and Microsoft security best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in managing infrastructure, endpoint security, and identity access management.
- Proven experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Purview, Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Protection, MFA, and DLP.
- Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles and identity governance frameworks.
