About the Role
uParcel is a Singapore-based courier, logistics and fulfilment platform connecting businesses with a network of freelance delivery agents and subcontractor drivers across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Japan. We're looking for a Delivery Partner Recruitment Executive to grow and manage our pool of delivery agents from first outreach, through induction, to keeping a reliable roster of regular subcontractors ready for daily delivery assignments.
This is a hands-on, people-facing role that blends recruitment, community-building and a bit of grassroots marketing. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective drivers and the person who turns interest into an active, trained, and dependable delivery workforce.
What You'll Do
Recruitment & Outreach
- Proactively source and reach out to prospective freelance delivery agents and subcontractor drivers through calls, messaging apps, social media, referrals and on-ground channels.
- Respond promptly to inbound enquiries and applications from potential delivery partners, guiding them through the sign-up process.
- Screen candidates for eligibility (licence class, vehicle ownership, right to work) and maintain a healthy, active pipeline in the driver database/CRM.
Induction & Onboarding
- Plan and conduct the Delivery Driver Induction Programme — platform training, app walkthroughs, delivery SOPs, safety briefings and code of conduct.
- Verify onboarding documentation (licence, insurance, vehicle inspection where applicable) and ensure new agents are fully platform-ready before their first assignment.
- Continuously improve the induction curriculum based on new-agent feedback and delivery performance data.
Subcontractor Pool Management
- Build and maintain a roster of regular, reliable subcontractors who can be deployed for daily delivery assignments.
- Work with the Operations team to forecast manpower needs by region and match driver capacity to delivery demand.
- Re-engage lapsed or inactive agents and run retention initiatives to reduce pool attrition.
Employer Branding & Publicity
- Own the strategy for where and how uParcel is promoted as a platform for freelance delivery work — job portals, Facebook/Telegram driver communities, referral schemes, driving/vocational schools, and on-ground roadshows.
- Create and manage recruitment postings and campaigns, tracking which channels bring in the best-fit, most reliable drivers.
- Represent uParcel at recruitment events, roadshows or partner meet-ups as needed.
Administration & Reporting
- Keep the delivery agent database accurate and up to date (contact details, documents, status, performance notes).
- Track and report on recruitment KPIs : applications, conversion rate, induction completion, active pool size and fill rate for daily jobs.
- Handle day-to-day queries from delivery agents and escalate issues to the relevant team where needed.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field (equivalent relevant experience will be considered).
- 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or workforce/community management — experience recruiting drivers, riders, gig workers or subcontractors is a strong plus.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; a second language (Mandarin, Malay or Tamil) is an advantage for outreach to a wider driver pool.
- Confident and engaging presenter — comfortable conducting induction/training sessions for groups of new drivers.
- Savvy with social media and community platforms (Facebook Groups, Telegram, TikTok, WhatsApp) as recruitment and engagement channels.
- Organised and self-driven, with the ability to manage a live pipeline, database and multiple ongoing conversations at once.
- Familiarity with Singapore vocational licensing (e.g. private hire/GoJek-Grab style requirements) or courier/logistics operations is a plus, but not mandatory — training will be provided.
- Own transport is an advantage, for site inductions, roadshows or warehouse visits.
