Job Summary
You will supervise construction works by applying statutory codes and quality standards, maintaining accurate site records, and proactively resolving site issues to ensure project progress and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Apply statutory codes and regulatory requirements to supervise site activities, ensuring quality control and compliance throughout construction administration and progress reporting
- Analyze site conditions and project data to communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear verbal and written reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records documenting work progress and compliance status
- Identify, address, and resolve site issues collaboratively to maintain project timelines and foster a positive team environment
- Supervise complex construction works, including large span structural steel and precast construction, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent
- Accreditation from the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES
- BCSS certificate
- Structural Steel Supervisor (StS) certificate
- Minimum 10 years of relevant RTO experience, including at least 8 years supervising works of similar complexity
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience supervising large span structural steel and precast construction
