Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to support warehouse and logistics operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, organized work environment. This role may be deployed to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming goods to ensure quality and accuracy before storage
- Store goods systematically to optimize space and facilitate easy retrieval
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders accurately for timely delivery
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently to prevent damage and injury
- Assist with stock replenishment and conduct inventory checks to maintain stock levels
- Ensure inventory accuracy by performing regular stock rotation and record updates
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to support a safe work environment
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies consistently
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to complete assigned warehouse duties
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Secondary School education or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is an advantage
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not required
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting
